Aaron Nickerson - Sound Engineer
I’m a musician as well as a sound engineer. I started in this field by running a sound board for church worship bands. My experience includes studio recording for music as well as audio editing for video productions, including Hammerin Fishing Adventures on the Altitude channel. I combine my live, studio, and video experience to help Three Tree Media create the sounds for the inspirational and encouraging messages that our community and world need to hear.
Brian Holeman - Videographer
With almost 20 years of experience in Radio and Video Production, our move to Colorado in 2005 has been a blessing for my entire family. In my spare time, when not volunteering in our church video department, I enjoy taking my family to the mountains to ski in the winter and just relax in the summer. Working on everything from television shows to instructional videos and projects for non-profits has given me the knowledge and insight to take a project from scripting and talent selection all the way to the end of the job. I have a B.S. in Radio, Television, and Motion Pictures from Ball State University.
Brian Leugs – Script Writer
My professional background is in public affairs with corporations and national trade associations. I have a passion for creating with words—writing from a customer’s perspective. Script writing is a special art because you’re really not writing words, you’re writing speech. Scripts must sound naturally persuasive. I moved to Colorado in 2002 from the East Coast with my family and couldn’t be happier to still be here!
Jim Harper - DSLR Cameraman
After more than ten years in photography, with the last four working in Hollywood, I earned a degree in psychology and wrote an autobiography about the challenges of being dyslexic and the humor of life in general. I studied at the Ohio Center for Broadcasting in Lakewood Colorado and interned at High Noon Entertainment which produces shows like Cake Boss, Disaster House, and My First Place. I have spent time volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Association of Denver, Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA—Boulder’s rape crisis center), Second Wind Fund of Metro Denver (teen suicide prevention), and Denver Botanic Gardens.
Jim Nickerson - Senior Producer
I moved to Colorado in 1972 right out of high school with a couple of short excursions to Florida and California. I met and married my wife, Sandy—a Colorado native, and I’ve been here ever since. Most of my professional life has been in the visual arts field starting with still photography before moving to film. Being involved with Three Tree Media gives me the creative freedom to work on many different types of projects. I’ve been involved with product shoots for television shows and had the privilege to direct a TV series that was aired on the Altitude channel. It is such a blessing to be able to get up and go to work every day at a job that I truly love!
Ryan McSparran - Script Writer
I have been writing professionally for nearly ten years and am thrilled to be a part of the Three Tree Media Team. I am a native of Colorado and studied in Washington State, earning a degree in Journalism from Seattle Pacific University. My first professional writing experience was with Fish & Fly Magazine, a fly fishing publication focused on adventure travel. Since then I’ve worked in marketing and content management, writing everything from video scripts to technical accounting articles. I currently live in my home state of Colorado with my wife, Kelly, where we love to ski, hike, fish or any other excuse to be outdoors in the Rocky Mountains.
William Loznicka - Lead Motion Graphics Producer / Writer
I’m a story teller and film is my medium of choice. Like Jim, I started telling stories with still photography and gradually made my way into the world of film, motion graphics, and eventually live show production. Recently I've been given the opportunity to help students transmit and record their own accounts of epic struggles to succeed. It is this passion to chronicle the best in all of us in order to give us hope for tomorrow that has brought me to Three Tree Media.
